I'm Louis Jackman, a product security manager in London - for a more professional-focused view of my achievements, see my CV and my LinkedIn, and contact me.
Aside from the usual InfoSec leadership, engineering management, and technical advisory efforts, I have personal interest in the emerging models for sandboxing and controlling access for AIs agents, LangSec, capability-based-security, declarative computing, concurrency, functional programming, compile-time metaprogramming, and programming language theory (PLT).
I've personally created technological solutions for companies' messy, real-world production problems in server-side Java, frontend TypeScript/JavaScript, Python for light scripting, and Rust when lower-level control was needed - all atop server-side Linux, Kubernetes, AWS, and various serverless technologies like Lambda and edge workers in CDNs.
In recent years, I have been increasingly assisted by Claude Code and OpenAI Codex at work, and have experimented with local, open-weight models like Qwen and GPT-OSS inside OpenCode.
Some other technologies also show up in personal projects: client-side Linux, Zig, Nix, embedded Scheme variants, and Emacs Lisp.
