Aside from the usual InfoSec, management, and advisory efforts, I have personal interest in the emerging models for sandboxing and controlling access for AIs agents, LangSec, capability-based-security, declarative computing, concurrency, functional programming, compile-time metaprogramming, programming language theory (PLT), libre software, and UK and European digital sovereignty.
I've personally created technological solutions for companies' messy, real-world production problems in server-side Java, frontend TypeScript/JavaScript, Python for light scripting, and Rust when lower-level control was needed - all atop server-side Linux, Kubernetes, AWS, and various serverless technologies like Lambda and edge workers in CDNs.
In recent years, I have been increasingly assisted by Claude Code and OpenAI Codex at work, and have experimented with local, open-weight models like Qwen and GPT-OSS inside OpenCode.
